This is a set of different independent parts working together in
interrelated manner to accomplish a set of objectives. The system approach to
management is based on general system theory – the theory that says that to
understand fully the operation of an entity, the entity must be viewed as a
system. This requires understanding the interdependence of its parts. System
approach to management views the organization as a unified, purposeful system
composed of interrelated parts.
This approach helps the managers to see the organization as a whole and
as a part of the larger external environment.
2. They must intertwine their department with the total organization and communicate with all other departments, employees and with each other.

The 7-S model used to analyze both large and small firms by looking at
their structure, offering a wider explanation thorough seven elements are as
listed below: strategy, structure, systems, style, staff, skills, and shared
values.
