Project/Engineering's End of Year Get-Together In Lagos

Engineers do know how to groove!

If you are in doubt, ask anyone who attended the End of the year get-together of the Project/Engineering staff which held on Friday, 05 December 2014 at Lagos Guest House 15.

The event was spurred out of the need to celebrate our outstanding performance in the year and to give thanks to God for sparing our lives.

Anchored by the ever-witty Olumide Lawson, audience was taken through a delightful event as they enjoyed the best of choice food and drinks even as Olumide ensured that we were in stitches as he dished out rib cracking jokes continuously.

Two comedians, Tyv Funny and Mr “O”, were also invited to spice up the occasion.

Music was supplied by DJ Banty who came in with sophisticated music gadgets including first class karaoke equipments.

Welcoming everyone to the party, Project Director; Engr Walter Ononogbu, reiterated the management’s resolve to reward dedication and productivity among its workforce.

He stated that despite the challenges faced by the company in the year, the commitment and dedication of the entire workforce made the difference.

He enjoined members of staff to redouble their efforts while promising that management will continue to invest in them to sharpen their skills and to equip them for improved performance.

The occasion presented an opportunity to rejoice with our Senior Project Manager, Mr. Kayode Adelaja who turned a year older that day. Birthday cakes were cut to mark his birthday.

The party also featured events like Lucky dip, Language Translation, and Dancing Competition. Wonderful Karaoke rendition was performed by Fil Gary Manlimos, a Cost Engineer.

Winners of the various events went home with various prizes.
